It was a cold, windy night but hundreds of people came out to support the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life.  Pam McClure’s Heart of North Myrtle Beach Team was well represented.

An Additional $1100.  was raised last night by our team.  This money will stay in Horry County to help fund support programs to combat cancer.

As we walked it was impossible not to think of our friends that are battling different types of cancer.  Pam, Patti, Betty, Glenn, and Linda.  Thankful for our friends that have won their battle like our good friend Tommy Black that was their until the end last night.  It was difficult not to reflect on those that have lost their battle with cancer.  I thought of Bocce Bob and other friends and walked laps for them.
