It was a great Sunday afternoon and freelance photographer Pam Gilbert was there with a bag full of smiles. She gave one to everyone before she snapped their photo as they listened to Chocolate Chip and Company. These guys rocked Duck’s Night Life with their Soulful Disco Sounds. Visited the Little River American Legion to check out Deb Browning and Jolly Mon. The Legion loves this duo and I can understand why. It was great to hang out with Marlisa, Vickie, Randy, Deb and the Jolly Mon.

After leaving the Legion our next stop was Deckerz Bar and Grill for the Riptide Radio Friday Deck Party. Ray and Scott was off the chain with great music and good stories.

The second Saturday of each month the VFW hosts the Quilts of Valor ceremony. The Quilts of Valor is awarded to a Service Member or Veteran who has been touched by war. The Quilt says unequivocally, “Thank you for your service and sacrifice in serving our nation.” I am very proud of the one presented me last year. The place, Captain Archie’s water-front restaurant, bar, club, and all around happy-goodtime-hangout. The band, Cat 5, it doesn’t get stronger than Cat 5 and this group made land fall at Archie’s with a boat load of talent. The individual talent of these individuals are only out-weighed by their personalities. It’s hard not to like Cat 5. And there to top off an already good evening was our cute and sassy Melissa to capture all the fun and excitement on film. The management and staff of Archie’s does a fantastic job making this a welcoming place for locals and visitors. Check them out!!!

Friday was a great evening at Local On The Water as 2021 Male Vocalist of the Year, Gary Lowder & Smokin’ Hot took charge of the waterfront stage at Local On The Water and our very own Melissa was there to capture the magical moments. Deckerz was rockin’ as Riptide Radio Hall of Fame DJ Ray Scott brought the right stuff to Deckerz Bar & Grill. It was a little breezy but sunny and warm and the music was movin’ and groovin’. You know that Spring has arrived when Ricky T moves his show outside to the Sidewalk Cafe at Duck’s Night Life. Nothing is better than sharing a table with friends and listening to Ricky play and sing. Life is good at North Myrtle Beach. ODMafia stopped by to get a few pictures and hang out with friends. Our lovely Christina Cooper Black brought the heat to Buoy’s On The Boulevard Tuesday night and the locals packed the porch to listen to her pop rock country performance. It was great to see the crowd that came out to support Christina and she didn’t disappoint as she poured her heart into her performance. When you hear a voice as sweet as grandma’s iced tea and as strong as grandpa’s white liquor you know Marsha Morgan  is owning the stage.  And there by special request from Marsha herself was our very on Melissa Hinson.  As always Marsha’s Beach Music on Red Bull style wowed the crowd.  Melissa was there to capture the fun and excitement on film.  Photos are posted and can be viewed and or downloaded from our photo page.

The DJ’s DJ, Gene Sistare took over the mic at the Riptide Radio Deck Party and fanned the flames of fun and excitement.  The Lancaster DJ brought a bus load of party with him as he came to Decker locked, loaded and unchained.  Gene has one of the largest music libraries of any DJ around, he not only knows what to play but knows when to play it. Catch one of his shows and I think you will agree, he’s one of the best.  Photos are posted!!!
