ODMafia Public Service Announcement

Debby and I went to Duck’s tonight.  Gary Lowder and Smokin’ Hot was doing their thing.  If you’ve not heard Smokin’ Hot, it’s hard to describe.  It’s music at it’s finest.

Nonetheless, We have a fundraiser for Pam McClure scheduled Sunday, October 20th at HOTO’s.  I asked Paul Craver if he could slip away a few minutes to sing at HOTO’s.  Everyone that knows Paul knows he has the voice of angels.  Paul said it would not be a problem, that they were closing that day not to interfere with our fundraiser for Pam.

I asked him again, after looking at a packed crowd at Duck’s if I heard him correctly.  He told me that Mr David Shaw stated that they wanted to help Pam all that they could and would not open on that day.

I couldn’t believe it, but knowing David Shaw I should have.  Sunday is a big night for Duck’s Beach and Night Club.  David would not take anything from a local in need for personal gain.  That says a lot about the man and a lot about Duck’s.  David, it says a helluva lot about you.  We love you man.  You’re the best.
