Two of my favorite people were entertaining at one of my favorite venues. the delightfully dangerous duo of Deb Browning and Marlisa Small brought their bubbly beauty and tremendous talent to Goodfellas on 2nd to light up a rainy evening. And light it up they did. The melodies inside flowed like the rain off the roof. Our two lovely ladies were joined in a few songs by Warren (Doc) McDonald. Goodfellas is the home of everyone’s favorite couple, Justin and Annie Tucker, that tells you that the service is great and the food is super. Stop in for dinner. You’ll be glad you did. Check out our Photos HERE.

2023-09-20 The Entertainers @ the Shoe Center – Dan Summitt
People not familiar with our life in flip-flop philosophy and the nuances of beach life often ask me “What is beach music?” That is sometime difficult to answer, beach music is more than a genre. It’s a lifestyle, a feeling. It makes you smile. And the epitome of beach music is The Entertainers. Regardless of what they play, not just the standards, it comes across as beach music. Creating something like “the Entertainers” is difficult, but nothing compared to the effort of maintaining the essence of the group, the very character. Earl Dawkins has done just that. Congratulations Earl and thanks to you and all your guys for making us smile. Pics are posted here.
2023-09-21 The Tams @ NMB Music On Main – Photographer Dan Summitt
Undoubtedly the largest crowd of the year turned out tonight for the North Myrtle Beach Music On Main event. Why? It’s the mighty, mighty Tams from Atlanta, Georgia on stage.. In the early years Joe and Charlie Pope brought the Tams to prominence with hits like “Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy”, “What Kind of Fool, and “I’ve Been Hurt. Little Red has kept the band together and going strong with the same unique sound we’ve come to love. Photos of the Tams can be found by following this link

2023-09-20 Jeff James @ Goodfellas – Photos Dan Summitt
It’s always a Rock ‘n’ Roll Country Night at Goodfellas when Jeff James is in the house. Jeff brings a turbo-charged energy to the traditional country music in which he excels. Jeff draws a house full of good people when he performs and last night was no exception. We had a lot of fun and a great dinner at Goodfellas. Check Jeff out whenever you can and check the photos out here.

2013-09-15 Walk About with Dan @ Tail Gate, Deckerz, Duck’s
It’s good to be out and about during SOS. Our first stop was at Tail Gate’s where the very delightfully-dangerous duo of Deb Browning and Marlisa Small were captivating the large group of fans that came out on this beautiful fall-like day. While at Tail Gate’s we tried their Smash Burger. Loved it. We moved on the Main Street for a stop at Deckerz Bar & Grill where playing was the Carolina Coast Band with Ricky Godfrey and the super-lovely Rhonda McDaniel (hey Rhonda, we love your new hair style). From there we ventured to Duck’s Night Life where CAT5 was at full strength, this groups talent is only exceeded by the members personalities. Genuinely good guys one and all.
Truthfully, our last stop was my favorite. We stopped into Melts for a cup of their ice cream. Absolutely none better. Photos of the bands and party people are posted. Check them out HERE.
2023-09-14 Tonez @ Spanish Galleon – Melissa Hinson
No better band at the beach than the Tonez and they were in beast mode Thursday night at the world-renown Spanish Galleon. Great band, Super venue. The only thing that could have (and did) make the night better was for our very own Ms. Star Shine to make an appearance with her pockets full of fun and smiles. Photos are posted and can be found HERE.
2023-09-14 Embers @ Local On The Water – Melissa Hinson
There’s no better way to kick-off an SOS than by sharing a smile with our Ambassador of Fun and Excitement Melissa Hinson. Melissa started her evening by stopping by Local On the Water where the mainstay of Beach Music, the Embers featuring Craig Woolard were lighting up the evening with melodies both new and old. She captured smiles and gave a lot away herself. Pictures of the evening can be found here.

2023-09-06 Jeff James & Len Dallas @ Deckerz & Duck’s – Dan Summitt
Took a little time to visit Main Street on Wednesday. This is not really a day known for downtown excitement unless you know where to look and who to follow. Deckerz Bar & Grill had an O.D. Mafia favorite, Jeff James on their outside deck Jeff delivers whenever and where ever he performs. If you like classic country, check him out. You won’t be disappointed.
Down the street another great performer was rocking Duck’s Sidewalk Cafe as he always does. Len Dallas when not spinning the hits was singing them. It’s always fun when Dallas is on Main. Pay him a visit, tell him O.D. Mafia sent you.
2023-08-31 Cat5 @ Music On Main – Melissa Hinson
Cat 3 Hurricane Idalia had no sooner moved off shore when CAT5 came barreling into the horseshoe in North Myrtle Beach with a rockin’ fury. Tim, Jerry, Glenn, Camron and Allan, Whether it’s rock, beach, country or pop this band electrifies the crowd with their hi-energy, super charged sound. ODMafia’s Miss Sunshine and lollipops brought a ton of smiles with her as she captured the fun and excitement that is undoubtedly Cat5. To top off the excitement our delightfully dangerous Melissa Kay Small joined Jerry in their rendition of “Love Really Hurts Without You”. Photos are posted HERE.
2023-08-31 Cat5 @ Music On Main Summer Concert Series – Photographer Dan Summitt

And it was a storm-chaser’s dream as North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation brought Music On Main featuring Cat5 to the horseshoe. Accompanying Cat5 was our very own dashingly beautiful lightning strike Marlisa Kay Small. Jerry West’s and Marlisa’s “Love Really Hurts Without You” wowed the super large crowd.
