O.D. Mafia’s very own Ms Sunshine and Lollipops, Melissa Hinson brought a pocket full of smiles as well as her camera to the solemn and uplifting 9-11 Ceremony held at the horseshoe in North Myrtle Beach.  Melissa captured the serenity, fun, and soulfulness the program.  The Embers were a great addition to the program.

North Myrtle Beach and the surrounding area come together this time of year to honor the heroes and victims of this dark day in American history.  We gather to remember the fallen and celebrate the heroes that rose from the ash.  And to do that we become one spirit, strong in our belief that America can withstand any storm.  We do that in prayer and song, Craig Woolard was the intelligent, insightful person to lead us in song.  The Embers featuring Craig Woolard provided inspiration to the largest Music on Main Celebration that this writer can remember.  O.D. The Blood Connection donation bus came to Deckerz  where a dozen locals donated life saving blood!  After the successful blood drive was another fun Golf Cart Appreciation event, sponsored by Gone Coastal North!  Mark McKinney and Co followed, with much fun had by all!!  The lovely and talented Robin Cloud was there to capture the fun and excitement that reigns supreme at Deckerz Bar & Grill.

The Tonez were the guest performers at Music on Main, and this talented group truly rocked the stage. This is a real party band that gets your pulse racing with the beat of the drums and the thump of the bass. The stunning Laura Kepley captivates and energizes the crowd with her incredible talent and the dynamic energy she brings to the stage.  Jonathan Treece wows the audience with his outstanding vocals and exceptional guitar play. Laura and Jonathan are surrounded by a group of remarkable musicians and vocalists.  The huge crowd that came to the weekly event left with a smile on their face and a feeling of excitement in their hearts.

Music on Main pulled out all the stops when they booked undoubtedly the best top band on the East Coast.  The grateful crowd may have been the largest ever as they rocked Main Street like only the Band of Oz can do.  Whether Beach classics or modern pop, this band owns the stage.  ODMafia’s very own Ms. Sunshine and Smiles, Melissa Hinson was there to capture the fun and excitement and add a little of her own.

Jeepers Creepers! Last night was Jeep Night at Goodfella’s on 2nd, and the theme was sharks. O.D. Mafia Dan Summitt showed up with his camera and Jeep to join the festivities. Every 3rd Wednesday of the month, Goodfella’s hosts Jeep Night, but owning a Jeep isn’t required to join in on the fun. Next month’s theme will be Pirate Night, so don’t miss it! O.D. Mafia DJ Dan Summitt was spinning tracks at the biggest little bar in North Myrtle Beach, the O.D. Arcade, keeping the outside dining area alive and rocking. Music filled the air, people danced, and laughter echoed all around. Between songs, Dan even managed to snap a few pictures.

The Bold & Beautiful Golf Tournament, because of the hard work of numerous volunteers, sponsors and staff, was a huge success.  This may have been the largest tournament ever.  The weather was perfect (for August in South Carolina) and birdies and eagles were flying.  Three O.D. Mafia photographers covered the event.

Last night at Duck’s Cafe many community and family members came out to celebrate a very special lady, Grannie Bowen, for her 88th birthday!  It was a big surprise for her, and she was all smiles for the evening!!  O.D.
