Our very own Photo Princess, the cute and sassy Pam Gilbert recently had her high school reunion and what better place to have one than Duck’s Night Life. And to put icing on the cake, the Randy Atwood Band was performing. This is one of OD Mafia’s favorite country bands. Pam captured all the fun and excitement to film and pics are posted.

Our out & about OD MAFIA photographer Harold Small visited the Kings Mountain Music Festival. The festival had a great line-up consisting of the Embers featuring Craig Woolard, the Carolina Coast Band with Rhonda McDaniel, and The ever-popular Catalinas. Definitely my favorite venue at the beach is the O D Pavilion. This storied building holds more memories than all of the OD Mafia cameras combined. Today RiverMist absolutely owned the stage with a mixture of classic rock, a little country and beach on Red Bull. The attendees that weren’t on the floor were dancing in their seats. Our very lovely Melissa Hinson, OD Mafia freelance photographer visited Captain Archie’s Saturday night and snapped great photos of the Jebb Mac Band. This band plays classic rock, hip hop and country all with a country flair. It’s hard to describe, the best thing to do is catch this band whenever they are at a venue near you. You’ll be glad you did.

It’s always Friday on Main Street. You can always find a party if you look and you don’t have to look hard. Duck’s Sidewalk Cafe is always hopping and Thursday was no different. The Mayor of Main Street, Ricky T has his voice back and is in prime form bringing you his unique country sound. Team Drink!

An evening of Jim Quick & Coastline bringing their swamp-soul voodoo magic to Music on Main and the large crowd that came out mesmerized by the sounds of the old Santee. You can always expect a great performance when Coastline is the headliner and this show was no different. Jim was in top form as the band played a variety of new and classic Coastline hits that brings back memories of good times at HOTO’s in Cherry Grove.  Absolutely no one does it better than Jim Quick.

It was a wicked walk-about Wednesday with all the fun and excitement Main Street can bring. The Malarkey Brothers featuring Jim Quick, Casey Meyer & Albert Rogers at HOTO’s outdoor stage, Jodi Hunter owned the sidewalk Wednesday at Duck’s Night Life, Eddie Anderson had a packed house at Fat Harold’s the only true Beach Club in Ocean Drive and Jeff James and his own unique country sound had the deck at Deckerz rockin’ & reelin’. Nights like this rivals a Friday night anywhere else.

It was a two in one night for our Photo Princess Pam Gilbert. Pamela captured the antics of the super-popular Band Switch and the fun and excitement of a birthday party at Duck’s Night Life. Thanks Pam. Good work as always.

The high-energy fan-favorite Cat5 filled Local On the Water with fun and excitement Saturday evening and our own sweet and sassy Melissa Hinson was there to capture their antics on film. This super-talented band is certainly an ODMafia fan favorite.

The largest crowd of the season came out to the OD Pavilion to see the great and powerful Oz and the Band did not disappoint. Chris “Silk” Terry made a rare appearance to the beach with his new band Silk Groove. They did not disappoint the crowd that had gathered in the parking lot of Deckerz Bar & Grill. It was a Walk-About Saturday that included stops at Duck’s Sidewalk Cafe to listen to one of my facorites Tammy Lee Nance, DJ Larry Jones at the world renown Ocean Drive Pavilion and the super-talented, turbo-charged SouthSide Saints.
