Clearing and Grading has begun on the site adjacent to North Myrtle Beach Times and across the street from Lowe’s Home Improvement.

Cookout, a restaurant chain based in Greensboro, NC is opening a new restaurant in North Myrtle Beach. Cookout specializes in hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, BBQ s, and hot-dogs. Better still, they offer over 40 different flavored milkshakes. We will keep you posted as to an opening date.

A Celebrity filled night at Deckerz Bar & Grill

 King Tyrone took a night off and Tim Clark of the Tim Clark Band stepped in to provide the lead vocals for the Graveyard Ramblers.  Wow!  What a combination.  Glen Tippett, Casey Meyer, Cameron Dudley, and Hugh Blanton along with everyone’s favorite bad boy, Tim Clark.

Many surprise guest performers joined the guys on stage including the one and only Albert Rogers of The Weight band.  It was great seeing Albert perform again.  Other guests artists lending their talents were Preston Honeycutt of Hip Pocket, Eric Stephenson formerly of Hip Pocket, Allie Privette of Midnight Allie, and Matt Carswell of Grand Strand Entertainment

Mid-Winter SOS

Scott and Amy has put together a Dynamite Mid-Winter SOS schedule for you.  Yesterday it was ODMafia DJ Dan Summitt opening for the ever-popular, super talented Midnight Allie.  Photos from last night are posted and available for viewing and or downloading on our photo page.. It was non-stop music from 4 till midnight.

Today (Friday) it is the pride of Rockingham and WLWL, Beach, Boogie and Blues DJ Dane-O.

At 4PM it’s none other than the outstanding, most magnificent YourBeachMusic.com DJ Ray Scott with his weekly live broadcast from Deckerz Bar & Grill.  Ray’s extensive knowledge of beach music is matched only by his vast  library. of beach tunes both past and present.

To top off the evening it’s the Marsha Morgan Band.  Marsha is a favorite at Deckerz  with her on style of beach and shag that will definitely fill the dance floor.  This is beach music on Red Bull.  Marsha’s energy is contagious and is quickly passed to her audience.  You’re sure to have a great evening tonight at Deckerz.

Toys for Tots

Deckerz Bar & Grill

Hurricane Matthew has increased the need for toys in our area.  Toys have either been destroyed by the storm or ruined by the contaminated water.  We are kicking off our Toys for Tots campaign early to insure that no child in our area goes without a toy for Christmas.  Deckerz Bar & Grill is serving as our early collection site.  You may bring a new, unwrapped toy to Deckerz anytime between now and December 18th.  You may also see any ODMafia photographer to donate a new, unwrapped toy.

We still need sponsors for our O.D. Locals  Toys for Tots Christmas party.  Contact Dave Smith, Vicki Hooper, Donna Strange or me for details. 

Lexington Barbecue Festival
