Wow!  What a great way to end 2015 and begin 2016.  It was a party from the first note played.  A party crowd was present and was ready to have a wicked good time.  The music was primarily from the 70’s & 80’s with just the right amount of Beach and TOP 40 sprinkled in.  We appreciate our friend Sir Jonathan Burton stopping by and letting the animals out of the cage!  If you weren’t at Deckerz, you missed a heck of a good time.

MISSION:
The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

Sea Cruz – Carolina Soul Band – Gary Lowder & Smokin’ Hot

Wow!  What a beautiful and fun afternoon on Main Street, North Myrtle Beach.  Sea Cruz (with Butch, Dino, and Molly) jump started the afternoon with their unmistakable sound.  Then the Carolina Soul Band took the stage and the fun and excitement continued.  Gary Lowder & Smokin’ Hot brought their magic to the stage to close the afternoon.  It was obvious the huge crowd had a great time.

A total remodel of Harold’s on the Ocean is underway in Cherry Grove, including the name.  The new name, Murphy’s on the Ocean.  ODMafia visited with Marty, the new manager.  Marty in no newcomer to the Myrtle Beach area.  He was successfully managed several bars in the area and is well-known and liked by the NMB locals.

Currently, a floor to ceiling renovation of the building is underway.  Wiring is being replaced.  The kitchen is being redone and the ocean front deck and bar are being upgraded.  More than anything, a major clean up is taking place.

A firm opening date is still three to four weeks out.  Stay current of the happenings at Murphy’s on the Ocean by visiting ODMafia often.
