Allie Privette  Debut with Jim Quick & Coastline

It’s great to see good friends on stage together and that’s exactly what we had Friday night as Jim Quick & Coastline started the evening.  It’s hard to say anything about Jim Quick that hasn’t been said.  Jim is the ultimate entertainer and the only singer I know that could keep the crowd entertained without ever singing a note or striking a chord.  But Jim did sing and Coastline played.  Like medicine for the soul, you feel better after a Coastline performance.  Friday, Jim and Coastline was there to warm up the crowd for their good friend Allie.

The Spanish Galleon was packed as Chad Sain introduced the beautiful and talented Allie Privette.  The crowd was anxious to hear what Midnight Allie had to offer.  It wasn’t long until everyone realized that this band is the no fault, no fake real deal.  ODMafia photographer was there to capture the magical, mystical, musical moments that is Midnight Allie.

It’s was insane as Hip Pocket takes over Ducks Beach Club.  ODMafia was there in force to document the mayhem and photograph the aftermath. I am extremely proud to be nominated for the CBMA Michael Branch Award. More than anything, I am grateful for the recognition of ODMafia. Anything we do is a group effort and I am very pleased that the work of Michael Jumper, Tim Smith, Debby Summitt, Harold Small, Donna Cotton Mills, Dale King, Alan Lusk, Heath and Josh Brown are noticed and appreciated. We work hard to preserve our life in flip-flop philosophy and try to promote the bands and clubs equally. We love live music and try to promote the establishments that bring us all the bands. It’s great to be part of Carolina Beach Music. Thanks again for the nomination. I love you guys and girls.  You made my day.

YourBeachMusic.com with Ray Scott starts the weekend off at Deckerz Bar & Grill with the YourBeachMusic.com deck party.  This has quickly become a locals favorite.  You never know who may stop by to see Ray.  No better place than Deckerz to start your weekend.  Dan Summitt

Hunter Huss High School held their Annual Beach Blast at the fabulous Ocean Drive Beach and Golf Resort.  Activities were held at the OD Pavilion, the OD Beach Club and of course, the Beach.  Saturday night was the Main Event headlined by the Magnificents.  Photos taken by ODMafia’s Dan Summitt are posted.

Ricky T was at Duck’s Sidewalk Cafe and certainly had his many friends and fans turnout for another great performance.  If you don’t understand “Team Drink” catch Ricky T at Duck’s.  He’ll ‘splain it to you.

It’s a parking lot party at Deckerz anytime the weather allows.  Last night was no exception when the Carolina Breakers rocked the lot with their unmistakable sound. What a night!  Photos taken by Tim Smith and Dan Summitt at Deckerz are on-line.

The Switch is definitely a Duck’s Beach Club favorite and the guys showed why last night.  The Switch rocked the crowd from the moment the first note was struck.  Tim Smith was there to get the photos.  Check them out!

Jim Quick & Coastline, Spare Change, Charlene’s Birthday Bash

Tim Smith started his journey at Patio’s where he took part in the celebration of Charlene Sellers Ward’s 29th Birthday.  It looks like everyone had a great time.  Happy Birthday Charlene, you’re our ODMafia sis!  Check out the photos.

Spare Change has become a regular at Duck’s Beach Club and the locals crowd is grateful.  This is one of the most versatile bands around playing beach, rock, country, R&B and pop.  Amazingly, this band plays them all well.  Pics are up.

Ocean Isle has done a great job in bringing in the best talent for their concert series and they didn’t disappoint today.  This time it’s the one and only king of the beach, Jim Quick & Coastline.  Their show is always a Quick-fix of high energy entertainment infused with 100 proof Santee Swamp water.  Today was no different.  What a show!  Tim Smith was there to capture the magic that is Coastline.
