The Entertainers visited Jillian’s in downtown Columbia, SC and Michael Jumper was there to capture the fun.  The photos are up.

Love Tribe was next on Mike’s agenda so it’s off to Duck’s Beach Club to get pics of the highly popular Love Tribe.

Saturday, It was one of ODMafia’s favorites, the Marsha Morgan Band.  The Band played a good mix of classic, southern rock, beach, and Marsha’s new releases that have them in contention for quite a few CBMA (Cammy) Awards.  Photos are on-line.

Duck’s Beach Club

The Tommy Black Band featuring Christina Cooper Black introduced songs from their new album to the appreciative fans at Duck’s Beach Club.

It was truly “A Beautiful Day in North Myrtle Beach” as the band performed what is destined to become a Carolina Beach Music Classic.  This song was written and sung by Tommy Black.  His talent as a singer and songwriter is abundantly obvious as the lyrics paint a beautiful picture of the area that we love.

Christina’s rendition of “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston will leave you spellbound.  Houston, we have a problem.  Christina Cooper Black is on stage.  She also performed  “Proud Mary” as only she can.  If you have ever seen Christina do this song you know that she pulls the crowd into the show.  It was a night to remember.  Expect more from this band.  They will not disappoint.

Rick Strickland Band – Heath Brown’s Birthday – Weston Wilson – ODMafia DJ Dan Summitt

Weston Wilson had his Deckerz debut and received a warm welcome.  This is a very talented young man that sings, plays guitar and keyboard.  I think we’ll see Weston again.  We have several photos of him posted to our website.  Check them out.

The clouds parted and the sun came out in time to allow the Rick Strickland Band to setup on the Deck at Deckerz Bar & Grill and Rick and his crew rocked it.  It was great to be outside.  Be sure to watch for Deckerz Parking lot parties whenever you’re at North Myrtle Beach.  They are quickly becoming legendary with locals and visitors alike.  Photos of the Rick Strickland Band taken by ODMafia photographers Tim Smith and Dan Summitt are online.

We all celebrated the birthday of our dear friend Heath Brown but none of us celebrated as hard as he did.  It’s safe to say we all had a great time.  I would liked to have seen Heath’s face this morning when he looked in the mirror and saw his new earring.  Priceless!

Tommy & Christina Cooper Black were the celebrity guests of 94.9 the Surf’s live broadcast of their weekly Sunday afternoon Beach Party.  The Beach Party is live from the Tiki Deck of the OD Beach Club at the fabulous OD Beach & Golf Resort.  You never know who might stop in.  The Beach Party is four hours of great music, fun & prizes. Photos are up!

BlackWater Rhythm & Blues Band provided the entertainment at Harold’s on the Ocean in beautiful Cherry Grove, SC.  This is one of the largest bands on the Beach Music circuit providing a full-bodied sound that makes you want to dance.  This is live music at it’s best.  Pictures are on-line.

The outside deck at Deckerz Bar & Grill is the Sunday evening home to Ricky T.   A locals favorite, Ricky adds a unique country flavor to your treasured Beach, Country,  R&B, & Classic Rock hits.  Team Drink!

The Embers featuring Craig Woolard wowed the fans at the Fourth of July Celebration in Faith, NC.  Providing a mixture of Classic Carolina Beach and latest pop hits, the band kept the audience on its feet.  You only had to hear “I Love Beach Music” to know that with Craig Woolard up front, the Embers of old are back and better than ever.

What can I say about Jim Quick & Coastline that hasn’t already been said and written thousands of times?  Jim is the consummate singer/entertainer that has surrounded himself with gifted, talented musicians that know how to have a good time.  Somehow, they have perfected the formula for fun and developed a sound and style that is as unique and recognizable as Jim himself.  You don’t “watch” a Coastline show, Jim makes you feel like you’re part of the performance.  Watch for the new Jim Quick & Coastline CD, their working on it now.  WooHoo!  Pics are up.

It was another Hip Pocket party at Duck’s Beach Club as the guys turned up the party to a 13 on a scale of 10.  It is unbelievable at the fun these guys bring with them.  How do you get 10 pounds of party in a 5 pound bag? Deckerz – OD Beach Club

ODMafia DJ Dan Summitt was at Deckerz Bar & Grill playing your favorite Beach, Classic Rock, & Country tunes.  The weather was great on the deck, at Deckerz. We appreciate everyone that come out and spent the afternoon with us.  It’s always great to see old friends and make new ones.  Also, thanks to everyone that purchased the red ODMafia women’s tees and our brand new koozies.  All profits goes straight to the ODMafia camera fund.

Gary Lowder and Smokin’ Hot was inside and they rocked Deckerz to the rafters.  This band is putting out some serious energy.  The interaction between the band and their fans is epic.  You could feel the heat radiate through out the club.

It was the Tommy Black Band featuring Christina Cooper Black at the OD Beach Club inside the beautiful OD Beach & Golf Resort.  This was a repeat performance for the band as they were there both Friday and Saturday Night.  Back to Back Tommy Black!  These guys play it all and do so masterfully.
