Photos from Saturday Nights performance at Deckerz Bar & Grill by Sea-Cruz was unbelievable.  Allie, Butch, and Dino pumped up the music and held nothing back.  Dino’s fingers danced up and down the keyboard in a magical, mystical way that filled Deckerz with fun, laughter and dance.  The three of these artists are super professionals in their own right.  Together they are a true triple-threat.  Sea-Cruz will be back at Deckerz Thursday, April 10th from 8 pm until midnight.  Be sure to a visit in your SOS plans.

The Governor of SC has appealed to Gary Lowder & Smokin’ Hot to play another outdoor event.  The Governor states that only Gary Lowder & Smokin’ Hot can turn up the heat  to break winter’s hold on the South.

ODMafia Super Saturday

It was a Doo-Wop, Doo-Rock night at Deckerz Bar & Grill as Sea-Cruz made a Super Sexy Saturday appearance.  This trio covers a broad range of music and does it well.  All are great vocalists and accomplished musicians.  It is difficult to describe Butch Barnes on sax.  It’s almost as if the sound starts in the ocean depths, rises with the sun then crashes on to the beach with the wrath and fury of a hurricane.  The interaction this band has with the audience really makes them special.  Butch and Allie spend as much time in the crowd as they do on stage.  Dino ties everything together flawlessly.

ODMafia Flash – Sea Cruz – Tim Clark Band

Last night was a great night to be at the beach.  Allie, Butch, and Dino, that’s right Sea Cruz was in the house playing wall to wall at Deckerz Bar & Grill.  This trio brings a lot of party with them where ever they play.  These guys don’t hold anything back.

The bad boy of beach music, Tim Clark invaded Duck’s with his typical all out assault.  Tim is an accomplished vocalist and a very talented entertainer.  You can’t help but have a good time when Tim is on stage.  You never know what this man might say next, neither does he.  Tim was accompanied by the Tim Clark Band.  A great group of professional musicians.

Hip Pocket – Duck’s Beach Club

Mike Jumper was out and about this St Patrick’s Day taking photos Friday night of the Hip Pocket Band as they performed to a packed house at Duck’s Beach Club.  These guys always bring a party crowd with them and this was no exception.  Check out our photo page.

A Truly ODMafia Heat Wave at North Myrtle Beach

Tammy & Pete – Gary Lowder & Smokin’ Hot – Craig Woolard Band

We had a great turnout for the Fundraiser for Jeppy at Fat Harold’s Beach Club.  It was great to see Jeppy back with the band.  Sadly it was also the last performance of the Craig Woolard Band.  But out of the ashes, like the Phoenix, the Embers are reborn.  Some said it would never happen, some said it was inevitable.  The Embers featuring Craig Woolard will burn red-hot forever more.  Photos are up.

Tammy’s burning vocals filled Deckerz Bar & Grill and the heat was on.  Pete was flawless as usual.  This duo combines Beach, Country, Classic Rock, & Pop into their performance to deliver a blazing night of song & dance.  Pictures are posted.

Gary Lowder and Smokin’ Hot was ablaze at Duck’s Beach Club.  This is truly a Party Band and last night was a great example.  The heat was up and the dance floor full as the fun spilled out the door onto the sidewalk.  This band contributes more to Global Warming than LA traffic.  The Fire Marshal considers Gary Lowder and Smokin’ Hot public enemy number one.  This band is Smokin’ Hot.  Gary’s rendition of Sexual Religion may be what’s needed to break the hold Winter has on the Grand Strand.  Check out our photos.

2014 appears to be a year with many changes in store for Carolina Beach Music.

Earlier this year we learned that Gary Lowder was leaving the Carolina Breakers to work full time with his new band, Gary Lowder & Smokin’ Hot.

Now we learn that Craig Woolard Band and the Embers are merging.  I know a lot of people were shocked to hear the news.  Personally, I feel Craig Woolard is back home.  Craig was with the Embers so long it’s in his DNA.

I’ve heard the Carolina Breakers since Gary left.  Wow!  Still a great band.

I’ve heard Gary Lowder & Smokin’ Hot! Wow!  What a great band.

I am looking forward to hearing the Embers featuring Craig Woolard.  I am sure that the magic is still there.

We’re fortunate to live in an area with so much talent!

Hayes Jewelers was started in 1939 as a small family jewelry shop by the late Delmar Hayes. Since that time, it has grown to become one of the top Diamond stores on the East Coast. Ray Scott and Joey Warren were broadcasting live from the infamous “back room” at Fat Harold’s Beach Club.  Ray and Joey have the uncanny ability of knowing what to play and when to play it.  It’s almost if they know what you want to hear.

Benny Huff was on hand to represent Hayes Jewelers of Lexington, NC to insure that each of the partners (Rickey Dennis, Freddie Priest, Ray Scott and Joey Warren) received their own Carolina Beach Music Internet Radio Station Award.

ODMafia photographers were out on Main Street of North Myrtle Beach for a night of fun and great entertainment; dashing and flashing between Deckerz, Duck’s, Fat Harold’s and the Spanish Galleon.

Sea Cruz packed Deckerz Bar and Grill and laid down one fabulous night of music.  Allie, Butch, and Dino are true professionals that were born for the stage.  They captivate their legion of fans with their rock’n fun sound.  Butch’s saxophone play is liquid, clear, and exciting.  Allie’s voice can be described as something between the sound a falling snowflake would make and the roar of a full-blown, supercharged V-8.  Dino brings it all together in his masterful way to make it fun, entertaining and exciting.  Check out our photos.
