It was a wall to wall and back to back double-header at Ducks Beach and Night Club as Tim Smith and Mike Jumper were busy photographing the Holiday Band Friday night and The Carolina Breakers Saturday night.  Both bands played to a full house.  Check the pictures out.  These guys were having fun Duck Style!

Danny Woods Tribute and Benefit

Little John done good and ODMafia was there to photograph it!  The benefit for Danny Woods has to be categorized as a success.  $14,000 plus was raised for Danny.

We’re cautious to name the talent that was at Thirsty’s 2.  With the number of performers we’re apt to miss one and we certainly wouldn’t want to leave any of these great entertainers out.  Needless to say, this was a who’s who of beach music.

It was obvious Danny had a great time.  Despite the hardships he has endured, his voice remains as enchanting and powerful as ever.

The event went off without a hitch (Little John might argue that, but if there were hiccups, no one noticed).

This was a great event and all involved should be congratulated.

Wave Entertainment’s DJ Alan Lusk handled the DJ and karaoke duties Thursday night and kept the place jumping.  It was also Lisa Chapman’s birthday.  Happy Birthday Lisa!!! As the photos show, I think she had a great party.

ODMafia DJ Dan Summitt was there Friday playing Beach, Country, and Motown hits.  Dan and Tim Smith was there to take the pictures.  The beer was cold and the music was good and the friends were plentiful.

Josh and Paige kept the fun flowing all throughout the night.

It’s a wicked fun ODMafia Party at Main Street Connection starting at 6 PM as DJ’s and Photographer’s Tim Smith and Dan Summitt provide the entertainment. ODMafia Bartender Josh Brown and Paige will be providing the drinks at great prices.

It’s DJ Throwdown on Main Street so everyone needs to come out.  Although we’re not participating we’ll still be spinning your favorite beach and shag tunes.  Hope to have some great shaggers and line dancers.  We’ll also play your requests.

It’s gonna be a full-grown party at the new Main Street Connection.  This is the place to start your party at North Myrtle Beach.   Main Street Connection is a “locals”, semi locals hangout but all are welcome.

ODMafia will be there Friday taking pictures and playing your favorite Beach, Country, Pop, and Rock tunes.  Come out, listen to the music and get your photo taken.

The parties always start early giving you plenty of time to head downtown.

The boys were back in town for an appearance at Duck’s both Friday and Saturday night.  The crowd was not disappointed.  Hip Pocket rocked the night like they always do.  If you’re a music fan you gotta see Hip Pocket whenever they’re at a venue near you.  Lory did a masterful job of capturing the fun.

Don Hamrick, drummer with the Rick Strickland Band has moved from Rock Hill, SC to North Myrtle Beach.

Don will open his Drum Center in time for Spring SOS so plan on stopping by and wishing him luck with his new endeavor.

The Don Hamrick’s Drum Center will of course specialize in drums but will also stock guitar strings, straps, and other musical accessories.  Don will also be giving drum lessons.  ODMafia is considering signing up.

ODMafia wants to be one of the first to welcome Don and his wife.Mary Jo to North Myrtle Beach.

Hip Pocket 

Hip Pocket is certainly building a Dynasty at Ducks Night Club as they once again swept the weekend.  ODMafia photos of Hip Pocket’s second performance of the weekend are posted and available for viewing and or downloading.

ODMafia photographer Dan Summitt attempted to capture the fun and frolic, mayhem and madness of the night as the boys unleashed their talent on the grateful crowd.  Duck’s Beach Club has become the Myrtle Beach home for Hip Pocket.  Most venues would not book a band consecutive nights.  David Shaw’s confidence in the boys of the beach once again paid off as Duck’s Beach and Night Club was packed with fun and excitement.
