It was a great night at the Spanish Galleon as Big  John, Roger Smith, and Warren (Doc) McDonald took the stage as the Memories.  Their songs not only brought back Memories long forgotten, their performance gave life to new ones that will never be forgotten by the crowd that was there.  You”ll never forget who you were holding in your arms as the Memories did their version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”.  Their songs, like Memories  will warm you up inside, but also tear your heart out.  Be sure to catch this group when ever you can.  The Memories have a new release coming out “Been There Done That”.  Big John, Roger and Doc have been there.  They may deny it, but they done it too!   ODMafia DJ Dan Summitt had the privlege of DJ’ing between sets and taking pics of their performance. It’s one of ODMafia’s favorite venues today for one of ODMafia’s favorite bands.  From one to 5 today it’s a Jim Quick & Coastline World and you’re invited to play in it. Jim, Coastline and all the Coastline Crazies take over the ocean front deck of HOTO’s to kick off the 4th of July Celebration at North Myrtle Beach.   A Jim Quick and Coastline show is a Quick-fix of high energy entertainment infused with 100 proof Santee Swamp water.  Their on stage banter and quick wit will amuse and captivate you.  Their musical talent will blow you away.  Boys and girls, wear your party panties to this one! It’s never the same but it’s always fun.    Some of the most talented artists on the beach and true friends of ODMafia, Casey, Glen, Albert and Jim Quick will give you a completely unforgettable performance.  Comment most often heard after a Jim Quick show “Did he really say that?”  Trust me, he probably did!.

Stick around after 5 and listen to great tunes played by DJ David Harris.  David is one of Fat Harold’s House DJ’s which says a lot about David.   David Harris, the tall man with the low voice.  David takes requests and has a music library of over 100,000 tunes.  Be sure to tell David you learned about his show on this website, www.ODMafia.com.

“I’m Just Sayin” one of the most talented bands on the East Coast has swept into North Myrtle Beach.  The Castaways have been wowing audiences through out the Southeast with their powerful vocals and on-stage personalities.  This is a fun, friendly, highly talented group of individuals that have come together to lead the ever growing Castanut Nation to new levels.  I’m not saying they’re good, “I’m Just Sayin” they’re great.  The Castaways take over the Boom-Dock at Boom Booms 13th Ave Raw Bar at 6pm and will entertain until 10pm.  Get there early for a great dinner at Boom Boom’s.  Also, while you’re there pick up a copy of the Castaways “I’m Just Sayin” CD’s.  It’s an ODMafia favorite.

ODMafia DJ Dan Summitt kicks off the evening at the world famous Spanish Galleon at 6pm playing your favorite Beach, Motown, Rock and R&B favorites.  You can count on a line dance or two between sets of the true headliners of the evening.  The Memories (Big John, Roger Smith, and Warren (Doc) McDonald) makes their 2nd appearance at North Myrtle Beach at 7pm tonight.  The North Myrtle Beach locals are still talking about the June 9th debut of The Memories at the OD Beach Club  The crowd was wowed with the groups unbelievable vocals and personalities developed from years of performing at the highest levels.  Whether you shag or just enjoy holding each other tight, you’ll make memories tonight.  The Memories with ODMafia taking pictures tonight at the Spanish Galleon.

The Emperor, DJ Paul Craver not only spins your favorite tunes tonight at Duck’s Beach Club, he welcomes one of the Kings of Beach Music Craig Woolard to the stage at Ducks.  Trying to describe Craig’s enormous talent and vast accomplishments is like trying to describe the Atlantic.  One things for sure, you’ll hear vocals that reflect both the power of the sea and the tranquility of the sand.  Whether it’s rock and pop that will have you hopping, classic and original beach tunes that satisfies the most serious shaggers, or heart felt ballads that fills the dance floor with love the Craig Woolard Band delivers.  And while speaking of love, Come out to Ducks tonight and help celebrate Debbie and Craig’s  29th Anniversary.  ODMafia wishes you two the best.  Much love to you both.  Doors open at 7:30pm.

Get your party on early by keeping it on Main Street.  ODMafia DJ Dan Summitt will be spinning your favorite tunes at Emmi Lu’s starting around 10am.  Emmi Lu’s is beside Fat Harold’s and across the street from Ducks.  Listen to a little Southern Rock, a little R&B, and a bunch of Beach Music while you shop.  Emmi Lu’s is your one stop, flip-flop, girly top shop. Stop by and let ODMafia get a picture or two of you on our big green bench.  You hadn’t been on Vacation until you’ve been to Emmi Lu’s Bling Nation.

Or sleep late and meet us at HOTO’s at 2pm when Cell Block C takes the deck by storm.  Cell Block C is followed by DJ David Harris who will play your requests beginning at 6pm. David and his 100,000 plus music library is an ODMafia favorite.

At 7pm its Rick Strickland Band “Hangin Out” on the waterway deck at Boom Boom’s Raw Bar.  Whether it’s Rock that will electrify and energize you or one of Rick’s Cammy Award winning smoothies that will have you falling in love all over again,  you’ll be glad that you were “Hangin Out” with The Rick Strickland Band.  While you’re at Boom Boom’s have dinner, ODMafia recommends the Boom Boom Shrimp!  Also, pick up a copy of the recently released CD, “Hangin Out” (also recommended by ODMafia).

It’s Earl Dawkins and the Entertainers taking the stage at the Spanish Galleon.  Pop, R&B, Rock or Beach, these guys play it all.  You can have dinner at the OD Beach and Golf Resort and then dance the night away with one of the best bands on the circuit.  The band takes the stage at 7:30pm.

UBU takes the stage at Ducks Beach Club at 8:30pm and plays until 1am or so.  This band can and will play all your favorites and look good doing it!  Ducks Beach Club where the Party People (and ODMafia) Party.

Steve Owens and Summertime kicks off at 9pm at Fat Harold’s Beach Club.  Their energy and stage presence is only surpassed by their talent.  Beach, Rock or Pop, Steve Owens and Summertime delivers.  Remember, you haven’t been to the beach until you’ve been to Fat Harold’s.

Today at 4pm until 8pm Sam’s Sonic rules the ocean front deck. at HOTO’s.  HOTO’s is certainly an ODMafia favorite.

It’s Thursday at Boom Boom’s.  That means that DJ Ray Scott will be playing your favorite beach, Motown, and classic rock tunes.  Ray Scott, and Boom Boom’s is a mainstay of the locals.  ODMafia hopes to see you there.

Calling a Hip Pocket performance a show is like calling the Atlantic wet.  It’s a Hip Pocket extravaganza at Ducks Beach Club.  Little John, Mike and Eric bring their antics to the stage at 8:30pm and will continue into the early morning.  Take a Pocket Rocket ride to LJ’s world.  Its a an alliance of the insane.  Whether Beach, Motown, Rock or Pop, these guys will inject their Hip Pocket drive into their performance.  ODMafia will be taking pictures.

ODMafia‘s Party Fun North Myrtle Beach Report: Carolina Breakers, “Ride the Wave”.  Who knew the wave generated by the Carolina Breakers would quickly turn into a tsunami?  The Cammy Award winning Carolina Breakers have swept thru the Carolinas wowing everyone with the raw power of their vocals and sheer energy of their performance. The Carolina Breakers will be appearing at Ducks Beach Club tonight at 8:30 pm and entertaining you into the wee hours of the morning.  Leave your life-jacket at home but be sure to bring your dancing shoes.  The ODMafia, Ducks and the Carolina Breakers: a true Carolina phenomena.

Boom Boom’s Raw Bar host their weekly cornhole tournament tonight.  It’s always a fun night at Boom Boom’s.  Their weekly tournament has been a hit with locals and visitors alike.  Stop in and say hello to the crew.  Tell them the ODMafia sent you!

The tremendously talented and thoroughly entertaining Tim Clark Band appears tonight at Ducks Beach Club.  Ducks where the Party People Party.  Whether it’s 70’s, 80’s, 90’s or Top 40’s the Tim Clark Band excels.  Their unique style and showmanship continues to wow audiences up and down the East Coast.  Tim is definitely an ODMafia favorite.

The Carolina Soul Band brought a boat load of energy to their debut at Ducks Beach Club. They held nothing back as they performed their unique renditions of Motown, Beach, and Disco.  An Absolute ODMafia favorite.  Check out their photos on our Photos page.
