Friday was rocking as Riptide Radio DJ Scott was playing the very best in Beach Music.  The celebration on Friday is amazing, but this Friday was over the top as the beautiful and loved by all, Eileen Henriksen celebrated her birthday.  The dashingly daring duo of Deb Browning and Marlisa Kay Small provided the entertainment.  Photos taken by Dan and Melissa can be found by following the LINK.

Later in the day, Robin made her way to Goodfellas where NMB’s favorite twins, Gary Rash and Terry Rash, were to be treated to a surprise party to celebrate their 70th birthday!!  Many familiar faces were in attendance, and the party was a smash hit!  Unfortunately, Gary was ill and unable to make it in person.  We hope he is feeling much better and wish him well!  Happy 70th Birthday, Terry and Gary!! O.D. Mafia loves ya both!!!

“I hit the beach yesterday where what to my wondering eyes should appear but Santa and Mrs. Claus along with the Grinch and his little dog Max!!  The North Myrtle Beach rescue team brought out the new amphibious rescue boat to give Santa and Mrs. Claus a sweet ride along Ocean Drive Beach!!  The Grinch and Max rode on a bright green jet ski, pulled by the NMB Rescue Truck 88!!  It was a gorgeous day and many beachgoers were treated to this wonderous sight as the parade made its way southward!”

My favorite event leading up to Christmas is the Inner City Slickers Christmas Party hosted by Michael McMeel.  Thank you Michael for allowing Debby and I to assist in this event which overflows with Christmas Spirit.  Two albums of the very happy children and a few pictures of the exhausted volunteers are posted.  Follow this Link.

Christmas at Greg Rowles Legacy Theater was nothing short of spectacular, as Greg Rowles once again proved why he’s known for the best entertainment in the Southeast. Sunday night, the legendary Embers, featuring the incomparable Craig Woolard, lit up the stage with a performance for the ages. Their Christmas show exceeded all expectations, spreading holiday cheer to everyone in the audience. The lovely Melissa Hinson, O.D. Mafia’s very own Sugar Plum Fairy, was there to capture the magic and excitement that Craig Woolard brings to every performance.

A few friends gathered to Celebrate the Photographers, both past and present of O.D. Mafia and our recent O.D. Mafia Exhibit at the North Myrtle Beach Museum.  For the past 25 years we’ve been taking pics and have never tired of capturing the moments.  Thanks to everyone for visiting our site.  Marlisa Kay Small and Dan Summitt announced that a brick would be placed outside the Museum in honor of Melissa Hinson for her enormous contributions to O.D. Mafia.  Also, each attendant was given a stuffed animal and charged with presenting it to a needy child.  It was a fun night and a big shout to my wife Debby, Marlisa, Melissa, Dennis, Peggy, Bennett, Malcolm and Kaitlyn for planning and preparing for the party.  We can’t say enough about Justin and Annie of Goodfella’s for catering the event.  Everything exceeded our expectations.

It’s ON!!! The 18th Annual T’R’s Cancer Fighters Oyster Roast is underway and O.D. Mafia’s Photographers are there in force.  Entertainment includes the Konnection Band, Jim Quick & Coastline, & Too Much Sylvia.  Wow!  What a line up. Check out the great photos by Robin Cloud.

Sea Cruz brought their A-Game to Goodfella’s on 2nd Avenue to entertain the large crowd of TR’s volunteers and other visitors and you can bet that O.D. Mafia’s lovely and vivacious Robin Cloud was there to capture the fun.

One of O.D. Mafia’s favorite events of the year, TR’s Cancer Fighters Oyster Roast gets underway.  Today is Prep Day and the volunteers turn out to get a jump on the main event.  O.D. Mafia’s beautiful and talented Robin Cloud was there to capture the moments to film and to help with preparations.

Tuesday a group of well-wishing locals arrived at Calhoon’s 19th Hole Saloon in NMB to deliver a pick-up truckload of turkeys just in time for Thanksgiving!  The birds were provided free of charge to anyone who came by to pick one up!!  A steady stream of NMB citizens were blessed with butterballs to take home for their holiday feasts!  

Jim Quick and Josh Brown were the featured celebrity bartenders tonight at Deckerz Bar & Grill!!  Both did a great job!!  They also sold raffle tickets in support of Timmy Ray’s Cancer Fighters!!  It was a packed house, lots of excitement and drink challenges for the bartenders!!  On stage was the fantastic Devon Dove, entertaining the crowd!!  Photos are HERE

The weather was perfect for the dedication of the Serenity Garden at Marlissa’s Bold & Beautiful Spa.  The garden is a thing of beauty and Grace thanks to the great individuals and companies that donated time, effort and money to the creation of the truly serene area of meditation and prayer.  Just a few of the donors are Elite Coastal Landscaping, designs and installation; Southern Signs and Banners; SiteOne Landscape Supply; Mr. Fence It; Coastal Gardens; Coating Unlimited; Laurie and Jacob Foor and many others.  Thanks to everyone that joined the celebration.  Photos are posted and can be found by following the link.

Root 65 Band was the featured entertainment at Duck’s Night Life as the VFW Post 10804 Auxiliary hosted a spaghetti dinner at Duck’s Cafe.   Root 65 Band filled the night club with music, laughter, fellowship and fun.  A big shout out to Duck’s for allowing us to use their facilities and we are grateful to Kelli Dubs for preparing a great meal.  Photos taken by the vivacious and very talented Robin Cloud and the gray and grouchy Dan Summitt are posted.  FOLLOW THIS LINK.
