An evening of Jim Quick & Coastline bringing their swamp-soul voodoo magic to Music on Main and the large crowd that came out mesmerized by the sounds of the old Santee. You can always expect a great performance when Coastline is the headliner and this show was no different. Jim was in top form as the band played a variety of new and classic Coastline hits that brings back memories of good times at HOTO’s in Cherry Grove.  Absolutely no one does it better than Jim Quick.

It was a wicked walk-about Wednesday with all the fun and excitement Main Street can bring. The Malarkey Brothers featuring Jim Quick, Casey Meyer & Albert Rogers at HOTO’s outdoor stage, Jodi Hunter owned the sidewalk Wednesday at Duck’s Night Life, Eddie Anderson had a packed house at Fat Harold’s the only true Beach Club in Ocean Drive and Jeff James and his own unique country sound had the deck at Deckerz rockin’ & reelin’. Nights like this rivals a Friday night anywhere else.

It was a two in one night for our Photo Princess Pam Gilbert. Pamela captured the antics of the super-popular Band Switch and the fun and excitement of a birthday party at Duck’s Night Life. Thanks Pam. Good work as always.

The high-energy fan-favorite Cat5 filled Local On the Water with fun and excitement Saturday evening and our own sweet and sassy Melissa Hinson was there to capture their antics on film. This super-talented band is certainly an ODMafia fan favorite.

The largest crowd of the season came out to the OD Pavilion to see the great and powerful Oz and the Band did not disappoint. Chris “Silk” Terry made a rare appearance to the beach with his new band Silk Groove. They did not disappoint the crowd that had gathered in the parking lot of Deckerz Bar & Grill. It was a Walk-About Saturday that included stops at Duck’s Sidewalk Cafe to listen to one of my facorites Tammy Lee Nance, DJ Larry Jones at the world renown Ocean Drive Pavilion and the super-talented, turbo-charged SouthSide Saints. Thursday in Ocean Drive is truly Friday Eve and deserves to be part of your weekend plans. Tonight we had the Rock and Soul Blue Man Group with their disco/motown review with a side of country. Their rendition of Tennessee Whiskey had the dance area packed. At Duck’s Sidewalk Cafe Jodi Hunter was entertaining a huge crowd with his unique style and the Charlie Snuggs duo was on the deck at Deckerz Bar & Grill. Photos are posted.

The Calabash Concert Series sprang to life as the ever-popular, super-talented, Entertainers owned the outdoor stage at Calabash Town Park. The one and only Earl Dawkins headlines a group of vocalists that any and all could be deservedly nominated for the CBMA Male Vocalist of the Year. Always true to their roots, the Entertainers have successfully blended Top 40 with their heavily laden Beach Music playlist providing an entertaining event for both young and old. Photos are posted.

Another great Thursday in North Myrtle Beach as the legendary Embers featuring Craig Woolard owned the horseshoe.
