Captured by the skilled lens of the extremely talented and exciting Robin Cloud are photos of one of the hardest working ladies of beach music (or any kind of music for that matter) the exceptionally beautiful Christina Cooper Black.  Christina brings the fun to an event and Robin captures the moments while adding a sparkle to the evening.  A pair of aces for sure and they rocked the Elks Club in Calabash and Patio’s Tiki Bar in Little River.

What a fun night at Captain Archie’s!!!  The Holy Spikots were there and fun and excitement poured across the stage.  Jim Quick has more charisma and charm than a truck load of puppies, Albert is the king of blue-eyed-soul and Casey is an out-of the-box wizard that also plays the guitar.  This much talent on one stage is illegal in some countries.  Hey, did I mention the food at Captain Archie’s is great.  It took both Melissa and I to capture the magical moments that the Holy Spikots generate!!!

The charismatic country crooner, Jeff James was again at Maxwell’s/Billy the Kid’s for the ever-popular Tuesday Date Night.  Maxwell’s Tuesday Date Night Special is the prime rib but they also have a menu that includes sandwiches and seafood that is great.  I particularly like their shrimp & flounder combination with onion rings.  Jeff’s playlist includes George, Waylon, Merle, and other legendary performers and he also works in a little classic rock which his fans appreciate.  Occasionally he is joined by our Bold & Beautiful Marlisa Kay Small for a few songs.  Catch the fun at Maxwell’s/Billy the Kid’s every Tuesday.

CPepper Creek owned  the deck at the Multiple Award Winning Deckerz Bar & Grill.  Deckerz is famous for bringing you the very best entertainment on the Grand Strand and O.D. Mafia’s delightfully dangerous and super attractive freelance photographer visited Deckerz with her camera and a pocket full of smiles to capture the fun and excitement.

Jeff James and his legendary country revue highlighted the evening at Maxwell’s/Billy the Kids.  The prime rib special looked delicious but we opted for the flounder.  It’s well-known that Billy the Kid’s has great seafood and last night was no different.  The food was great and Jeff James was spot-on with his music.  The dance floor was full most of the night.

Our lovely photographer, Ms. Sunshine and Lollipops, Melissa Hinson captured the fun and excitement of Cat5 featuring Tim Clark.  Cat5 was one of the greatest bands at the beach that only got better with the addition of Tim Clark.  Photos can be found by following the link below.

The happy-good-time gang (Dan, Debby, Melissa, Marlisa & Jeff) met for dinner at J Peters Grill and Bar, then headed to Greg Rowles Legacy Theatre to pick up a guitar signed by Greg and the cast.  The guitar will be auctioned to raise money for Marlisa’s Bold & Beautiful Wigs for Cancer ministry.  We were also looking forward to a good evening of entertainment.  Instead, we were treated a GREAT fun-filled evening of magical musical memories by Greg and his very talented cast.  The show was better than any of us imagined, and knowing Greg, our expectations were high.  Be sure to catch the show.  We will certainly return often.

It was a warm Christmas in July as VFW Post 10804 held their annual Christmas in July event to raise monies for Veterans in need.   Tickets were sold, a Chinese raffle was held, a great dinner was served, and O.D. Mafia’s DJ Dan Summitt was honored to be the DJ for this occasion.  Thanks to all the Post, Auxiliary, and volunteers that gave their time and efforts to make this a very successful event!!!

Another fun night at Maxwell’s – Billy the Kids as out bold & beautiful delightfully dangerous duo of Deb Browning & Marlisa Kay Small hosted a tee-shirt cutting party.  Their Sunshine and Summertime tees were on sale and designers were present to assist in the styling of the shirts.  Shirts can be found at Southern Threads and are sure to be a collector’s item for any beach music lover.  Thanks to O.D.
