The Monday ODMafia Beach Party at Murphy’s was a huge success. The beautiful weather brought out the crowds, we had a large group from Ohio, and a huge group of beautiful young ladies on spring break from Virginia. The slogan “Virginia Is For Lovers” has never been so true. These fun loving girls made the afternoon fun. Also, our Solid Gold Line Dancers were entertaining the crowd with their choreographed twists and turns, steps and stomps. Our loyal contingent of dancers show up each week with new dances. I can never say enough about our locals, bartenders, and waitstaff. They are the heart and soul of a good time always found at Murphy’s. Photos are posted on our Photo Archives Page.

Not the biggest bar but Murphy’s is the most fun. This is definitely a party bar. The weather finally cooperated and gave us a warm, gorgeous day on the ocean. DJ Dan Summitt turned out the tunes and the dance floor was full thru the afternoon till evening. We appreciate the management, bartenders, waitstaff, locals and the visitors who choose to spend their limited vacation time with us. It was a great Sunday afternoon and freelance photographer Pam Gilbert was there with a bag full of smiles. She gave one to everyone before she snapped their photo as they listened to Chocolate Chip and Company. These guys rocked Duck’s Night Life with their Soulful Disco Sounds.
