2024-10-29 Dan Summitt’s 75th Surprise B’day Celebration @ Maxwell’s – Photos by Melissa

To quote Jim Quick it was “the best day ever” as Debby Summitt (with a lot of help from her friends) surprised Dan Summitt with a surprise Birthday Pary at Billy the Kids/Maxwells.  Melissa, Pam and Patsy took plenty of photos.  These are the ones taken by the beautiful and talented Melissa Hinson.  A big shout out to Jeff James who provided the entertainment with guest singers Donnie and Susan Trexler, Gary Lowder, Marlisa Kay Small, Deb Browning, Ray Scott, Cecellia Jeffers, Carl McAllister and Ray Collins.  And a big thank you for all of the guests that attended.  Love you guys.

2024-10-27 Western North Carolina Fundraiser @ 3001

What a great way to spend an afternoon/evening.  A group of our best musicians were gathered to raise money for the folks devastated by the floods and landslides resulting from Hurricane Helene.  O.D. Mafia’s photographers were present to capture the fun, games and talent happening in the audience and on stage.  This first album is filled with photos taken by Melissa Hinson.

2024-10-19 The Woman’s Club of North Myrtle Beach

I was asked to DJ and Emcee the Woman’s Club of North Myrtle Beach, “What a Difference A Mile Makes” fundraiser to raise monies and awareness of the evils and prevalence of domestic violence.  Speakers included Mayor Hatley who performed the opening Prayer, Kathy Heagan President of the NMB Woman’s Club, Chief of Police, Dana Crowell and Amy Hicks from the NMB Police Department, the honorable State Senator Greg Hembree, Debi DeBruym of the Family Justice Center, Lindy Studds from the Rape Crisis Center, Louise Carson from the Children’s Recovery Center, Kim Allen, and guest speakers Jennifer Smitherman and Christina Watts.  Marlisa Kay Small’s rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner brought loud cheers from the huge crowd in attendance.  Undoubtedly, one of the most informative, well-presented event I have been fortunate enough to play a part.  Due to technical difficulties, we could get only a few pics.  They can be found by following the link below.

2024-10-19 Christina Cooper Black @ Patio’s – Photos by Robin

The hardest working performer at the beach, North Myrtle Beach’s own beautiful Southern Belle, Christina Cooper Black brought smiles, talent, and tons of energy to Patio’s Tiki Bar.  O.D. Mafia’s own breath of spring sunshine, whether Fall or Winter, the very delightfully dangerous Robin Cloud was there to take the pics.

Photos of the mega-super band Tru-Sol brought a truckload of talent and energy to the Horseshoe at North Myrtle Beach as they entertained the crowd of thousands that were swinging, swaying and dancing to their music.  This was definitely one of the best shows presented by Parks & Recreation.  The drone show that followed was amazing!!!
