It was a beautiful day for the Surf’s Bold & Beautiful fundraising event. The “Think Pink” idea came from DJ Heavy, and as the photos show, most if not all of Surf’s DJs were there. Jim Quick took the mic and kept the energy high with great music and his quick wit. The event was a big success, topped off by Cindy Smith, the 50/50 winner, who generously donated her winnings. Thanks, Cindy, you’re truly special!
O.D. Mafia’s Ms. Sunshine and Smiles, Melissa Hinson, attended Deckerz to capture the Mac Daddy’s Band’s parking lot performance. They rocked the venue, and Deb Browning was a stunning and talented addition to the show.
Photos from today’s Julie’s Kids Annual Putt-Putt Tournament, held to support Horry County children in need, are now available. The event took place at Tribal Island Tiki Adventure Golf in Little River with an 11 a.m. shotgun start, followed by an after-party at the Officer’s Club at the Myrtle Beach Yacht Club. A record number of Jeep owners turned up with their Jeeps fully decked out for Halloween. The creativity was on full display as participants went all out decorating their prized vehicles for Jeep Night at Goodfella’s, sponsored by Vann Underwood Jeep in Whiteville. Ricky T kept the parking lot alive with great music, and the food at Goodfella’s was as amazing as ever. Annie and Justin truly keep this place top-notch.

It was a heartwarming afternoon as eleven Veterans received a Quilt of Valor. It’s always meaningful to witness the ceremony. The VFW Post 10804 does a fantastic job hosting the event, and the Quilts of Valor Myrtle Beach Shore Birds presents the program beautifully.
What an amazing evening DJ’ing for the Pine Forest High School Class Reunion! This lively group knows how to party, and O.D. Mafia definitely loves to join in on the fun.

The First Annual Salute to North Myrtle Beach Veterans event was a resounding success, with a large turnout of veterans and other attendees at the North Myrtle Beach Museum to honor their service. The ceremony began with the American Legion, Post 186 Color Guard, followed by a stunning rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner performed by Kellie J. Willard. Marlisa and Deb brought the crowd to their feet with their heartfelt performance of “God Bless the USA.” A pinning ceremony took place, during which Dan Summitt presented the Legacy Veteran Honoree award to Dick Hester, former NMB Mayor. Dan also shared information about Quilts of Valor. The evening’s entertainment, provided by Deb Browning and Marlisa Kay Small, was outstanding and left everyone impressed. The final “Music on Main” of 2025 wrapped up with an electrifying performance by the multi-CBMA-Award-winning Gary Lowder and his Smokin’ Hot Horns. Despite the daytime heat, the evening brought a refreshing cool breeze from the ocean, creating an ideal atmosphere. The massive crowd danced the night away as the lively music resonated through downtown. O.D. Mafia’s photographer Dan Summitt was there to capture the fun to film.

It was a beautiful afternoon, and The Shoe Center upheld its tradition by bringing another top-notch band to its SOS lineup. Rivermist delivered an amazing performance, proving to be a fun and talented party band, much to the delight of the enormous crowd. The ever-cheerful and lively Melissa Hinson was there with her camera, capturing moments with a smile, while Dan Summitt contributed a few shots as well.
The Shoe Center truly deserves major recognition from Beach Music fans. For years, they have showcased top-tier groups during SOS, and this year was no different. Gary Lowder & Smokin’ Hot, who have been nominated for countless Carolina Beach Music Awards, were the featured band. Their performance drew a massive crowd, including the talented Melissa Hinson from O.D. Mafia.

Argh!!! The pirates were out and about at Goodfella’s on 2nd for their monthly Jeep Night. This is a fun event but not exclusive to Jeep owners. All are welcome to come out and participate in the fun. Ricky T spins the tunes and the party is both inside and outside of Goodfella’s.
