SOS is in full swing, and O.D. Mafia DJ Dan Summitt was out and about taking photos.  Crazy Bear Entertainment was in high gear at Deckerz Bar & Grill.  At Fat Harold’s, the only true beach club at North Myrte Beach, the Castaways were beachin’ it.  When Karen Clayton sings, you can feel the sand beneath your feet and smell the salt in the air.  Then Karen smiles and a warm glow feels the club.  The Castaways has it all.  A last stop at the Pavilion and then a stroll up Main.  Happy SOS!

Old Dominion Barn Dance Theater hosted the Old Dominion Talent Search.  Marlisa Kay Small and a gallery of friends and supporters were in attendance to wish Marlisa the best of luck.  Marlisa was one of the winners and will have the opportunity to sing again at the Theater.  O.D. Tonight’s performance at Captain Archie’s of Jim Quick & Coastline demonstrated why Jim Quick has won over a billion CBMA Entertainer of the Year Awards.  This man’s persona and stage presence can be felt throughout the venue.  You can’t help but have a great time.  When Jim, Casey, and Albert are on stage there is no better front line on the planet.  And what can anyone say about their keyboard player, he should truly be considered for instrumentalist of the year.  And yes, Debby and I had a great time.  You can’t help but have a great time when Jim Quick & Coastline is in the house.
